Using the Keyboard:

  • Copy: Hold down the Command (⌘) key and press C.
  • Paste: Hold down the Command (⌘) key and press V.

Using the Menu:

  • Copy: Go to the Edit menu at the top of the screen and select Copy.
  • Paste: Go to the Edit menu and select Paste.

Using Right-Click:

  • Copy: Right-click (or Control-click) on the text or file you want to copy and select Copy.
  • Paste: Right-click where you want to paste the copied item and select Paste.

Additional Option:

  • Paste and Match Style: This pastes the content without any formatting from the original source. Use Option-Shift-Command (⌘)-V on the keyboard or select Paste and Match Style from the Edit menu.
