To embed a video in PowerPoint, you can follow these steps:

Open PowerPoint: Launch Microsoft PowerPoint on your computer.

Navigate to the Slide: Go to the slide where you want to insert the video.

Insert Tab: Click on the "Insert" tab at the top of the PowerPoint window.

Video: In the "Media" group, you'll find an option labeled "Video". Click on the arrow next to it.

Insert Video from File: Select "Video on My PC" if the video is saved on your computer. If you have the video hosted online, you can select "Online Video" to insert it using a URL.

Locate the Video File: Browse your computer to locate the video file you want to insert. Select the file and click "Insert".

Adjust Size and Position (Optional): After inserting the video, you can resize it and reposition it on the slide as needed. Click and drag the corners of the video to resize it, and click and drag the video itself to move it around the slide.

Format Video (Optional): You can further format the video by selecting it and using the "Format" tab that appears on the PowerPoint ribbon. Here, you can apply styles, borders, and effects to the video.

Set Playback Options (Optional): If you want the video to play automatically or loop continuously, you can adjust the playback options. Right-click on the video, select "Playback", and choose your desired options.

Test the Video: Play the slideshow to test the video playback. You can do this by clicking on the "Slide Show" tab and selecting "From Beginning" or "From Current Slide".

That's it! The video should now be embedded in your PowerPoint presentation. When you share the presentation with others, they will be able to view the video directly from within PowerPoint.
