1. Press and hold the Power button located at the top right corner (on iPad models with Face ID) or the top right edge (on iPad models with Touch ID) of your iPad.
2. Keep holding the Power button until the "slide to power off" slider appears on the screen.
3. Slide the slider from left to right to power off your iPad.
4. Your iPad will begin the shutdown process and turn off.
Once your iPad has completely shut down, you can turn it back on by pressing and holding the Power button again until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
