There are two ways to remove a friend from Snapchat:
Method 1: Using the Manage Friendship Menu
-
Open the Snapchat app and make sure you're logged in to your account.
-
Swipe right on the camera screen to access the Snapchat chat screen.
-
Find the friend you want to remove by scrolling through your chat list.
-
Tap and hold on their username until a menu appears.
-
Select "Manage Friendship" from the menu.
-
On the Manage Friendship screen, you'll see two options: "Remove Friend" and "Block".
-
Choose "Remove Friend" to delete them from your friend list.
-
Tap "Remove" to confirm.
Method 2: Removing Through Their Profile
-
Open the Snapchat app and make sure you're logged in to your account.
-
Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner.
-
Tap on "My Friends" to see your friend list.
-
Search or scroll through the list to find the friend you want to remove.
-
Tap on their username to open their profile.
-
Tap the three dots in the top right corner of their profile.
-
Select "Remove Friend" from the menu.
-
Tap "Remove" to confirm.
Things to Keep in Mind:
-
They won't be notified: The user you remove from your friend list will not be notified that you have deleted them.
-
They can still message you: If they know your username, they can still send you a chat request, but you won't see their snaps or stories unless you add them back.
-
You can still see their public story: If the user you removed has their story set to public, you may still be able to see it in the Discover section.
I hope this helps!
