Here's how to change the passcode on your iPhone:

You'll need to know your current passcode
Steps:

Open the Settings app: Locate the Settings icon on your iPhone's home screen and tap on it to launch the Settings app.

Navigate to Face ID & Passcode or Touch ID & Passcode:

Depending on your iPhone model, the option you'll see might be slightly different.

For iPhones with Face ID, tap on "Face ID & Passcode".

For iPhones with Touch ID (home button models), tap on "Touch ID & Passcode".

Enter your current passcode: You'll be prompted to enter your current passcode to access the security settings. If you forgot your passcode, there are no built-in methods to recover it directly on the device. You'll need to use a computer to restore your iPhone, which will erase all your data (refer to the "Forgot your passcode?" section below).

Change Passcode: Once you've entered your current passcode correctly, look for an option labeled "Change Passcode" or similar wording. Tap on that.

Enter your new passcode: You'll be asked to enter a new passcode for your iPhone. A passcode can be a 6-digit number or a longer alphanumeric code for increased security.

Re-enter the new passcode: For confirmation purposes, you'll need to type in your new passcode again.

(Optional) Turn on Face ID/Touch ID (if desired): If you want to use Face ID (iPhones with Face ID notch) or Touch ID (iPhones with a home button) to unlock your iPhone in addition to the passcode, you can enable it within this menu.

Exit Settings: Your new passcode is now set! You'll use this new passcode to unlock your iPhone in the future.
Forgot your passcode?
If you can't remember your current passcode, you can't change it directly on your iPhone. You'll need to erase your iPhone and restore it from a backup (if you have one) or set it up as a new iPhone. This will erase all your data on the device.
