As of my last update in January 2022, Instagram does not have a built-in feature to directly repost another user's story to your own story. However, there are a few workarounds you can use:

1. **Screenshot and Share**: The simplest method is to take a screenshot of the story you want to repost and then share the screenshot to your own story. To do this, view the story you want to repost, take a screenshot by pressing the appropriate buttons on your device (e.g., Power + Volume Down on most smartphones), and then upload the screenshot to your own Instagram story.

2. **Use a Reposting App**: There are third-party apps available on the App Store and Google Play Store that allow you to repost Instagram stories. These apps typically work by allowing you to log in to your Instagram account and select the story you want to repost, then share it to your own story. Keep in mind that using third-party apps may require granting them access to your Instagram account, so choose a reputable app and review its permissions before using it.

3. **Direct Message**: If the user who posted the story has allowed sharing via direct messages, you can send the story to yourself via direct message and then repost it to your own story. However, not all users enable this feature, so it may not always be an option.

4. **Tag the Original Poster**: If you want to share someone else's story on your own story but don't necessarily need to repost it, you can take a screenshot, post it to your story, and then tag the original poster by mentioning their username in the text or using Instagram's mention sticker. This way, your followers can see who originally posted the content.

It's important to respect the original poster's content and give credit where it's due. Always ask for permission if possible, especially if you plan to repost someone else's content regularly. Additionally, be mindful of Instagram's community guidelines and copyright policies when sharing content.
