Method 1: Using the Show/Hide Button

Open your Word document.

Click the Show/Hide button (

) in the Home tab. This will display all non-printing characters in your document, including page breaks.

Locate the page break you want to remove. It will appear as a dotted line.

Double-click on the page break to select it.

Press Delete on your keyboard.
Method 2: Using Find and Replace

Press Ctrl + H to open the Find and Replace dialog box.

Click on the Replace tab.

Click on the Find what text box and click the More button.

In the Special menu, select Manual Page Break.

Leave the Replace with box blank.

Click Replace All to remove all page breaks in your document at once.
Additional Tips

You can also remove a page break by placing your cursor just before it and pressing Delete.

If the page break is caused by a setting in the Paragraph menu, you can follow these steps:

Place your cursor at the beginning of the paragraph before the page break.

Right-click and choose Paragraph from the menu.

In the Paragraph settings window, go to the Line and Page Breaks tab.

Uncheck the Page break before option.

Click OK to save changes
