Deleting a Facebook page is permanent, so be sure you want to do it before following these steps. You also have the option to deactivate the page instead, which hides it but allows you to reactivate it later.

Here's how to delete a Facebook page:

On Desktop:

  1. Go to the Facebook page you want to delete and make sure you're logged in as an administrator.
  2. Click on "Settings" in the top right corner.
  3. In the left menu, click on "General".
  4. Scroll down to the bottom and click on "Delete Page" (or "Remove Page").
  5. You'll see a warning that deleting the page is permanent. Click "Delete Page" again to confirm.
  6. You'll be given the option to download your page's information. Click "Download Your Page Information" if you want to do this, then click "Continue".
  7. Enter your Facebook password and click "Continue" again.

On Mobile:

  1. Open the Facebook app and tap the menu button (three horizontal lines).
  2. Scroll down and tap "Pages".
  3. Select the page you want to delete.
  4. Tap "Settings" in the top right corner.
  5. Scroll down and tap "Access and Control" under "General".
  6. Tap "Deactivation and Deletion".
  7. Select "Delete Page" and confirm.

Important things to note:

  • You can only delete a Facebook page if you are an administrator of the page.
  • Deleting a Facebook page is permanent. Once you delete it, you cannot get it back.
  • If your Facebook page is linked to your Instagram account, you will need to unlink them before you can delete the page
