I won't be able to include specific links in my response following your instructions, but I can definitely guide you through deleting a post on Facebook:

On the Facebook Mobile App:

  1. Launch the Facebook app and head to your profile by tapping your profile picture icon (usually located at the bottom right corner).

  2. Locate the post you want to get rid of by scrolling through your profile feed.

  3. Once you find it, tap the three dots (...) in the top right corner of that specific post.

  4. A menu will appear. Look for the option that says "Move to trash" (or something similar) and select it.

  5. A confirmation message might pop up. Tap "Move" (or the equivalent option) to confirm deletion.

On Facebook Desktop:

  1. Go to facebook.com and log in to your account.

  2. Click on your name at the top of the page to navigate to your profile.

  3. Find the post you want to delete on your profile timeline.

  4. Hover your mouse over the three dots (...) in the top right corner of the post.

  5. From the menu that appears, choose "Move to trash" (or a similar option).

  6. In the confirmation pop-up window, click "Move" (or the equivalent option) to permanently delete the post.

Important to Remember:

  • Deleted posts are sent to a trash folder and remain there for 30 days before being permanently erased.
  • If you change your mind within that timeframe, you can access your "Activity Log" (mobile app only) and restore the post from the trash.
  • Deleting a post only removes it from your profile. If you shared it elsewhere (in a group or on someone else's timeline), it might still be visible in those places. You'd need to contact the group admin or the person who shared it to request its removal.
