As of my last update, Google Classroom does not have a built-in feature for archiving entire classes. However, you can effectively archive classes by removing them from your active Classroom homepage. Here's how you can do it:

1. **Open Google Classroom**: Go to the Google Classroom website (classroom.google.com) and log in to your account.

2. **Access the Class Settings**: In the Classroom homepage, locate the class you want to archive. Click on the class card to open it.

3. **Go to Class Settings**: Once the class is open, click on the settings gear icon (located in the top right corner of the class header) to access the class settings.

4. **Remove Class from Homepage**: In the class settings menu, you'll find an option to "Remove class from homepage." Click on this option to remove the class from your active Classroom homepage. This action effectively archives the class.

5. **Repeat for Other Classes**: If you have multiple classes you want to archive, repeat the above steps for each class.

By removing the class from your active Classroom homepage, you effectively archive it and remove it from your main view. However, all class materials, assignments, grades, and student submissions will still be accessible. You can access archived classes by clicking on the "Archived classes" option in the Classroom menu (accessible via the menu icon in the top left corner of the Classroom homepage).

Please note that archiving a class in this manner does not delete it permanently. You can still access and re-enable archived classes at any time. If you need to permanently delete a class, you may want to consider removing all students and co-teachers from the class and then deleting it from your Classroom homepage. However, be aware that this action is irreversible and will delete all class materials and data associated with the class.
