Unblocking someone on Snapchat is a simple process, and here's how to do it:
On iPhone and Android:
-
Open the Snapchat app and tap on your profile icon (Bitmoji) in the top left corner.
-
Tap on the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top right corner.
-
Scroll down and tap on "Blocked" under the "Account Actions" section.
-
You will see a list of people you have blocked.
-
Swipe right on the name of the person you want to unblock, or tap the "X" next to their name.
-
Confirm your choice by tapping on "Unblock".
The person you unblocked will now be able to send you snaps, chat with you, and see your stories.
Important to note:
-
Unblocking someone does not automatically add them back as a friend. You will need to send them a friend request again if you want to see their private story and snaps.
-
If you are unsure whether you should unblock someone, consider the reason why you blocked them in the first place and whether the situation has changed.
